I dont know how many of you are already aware of this. MYTODAY SMS is a free service which provides you free SMS updates on the topic of your own choice. I got to know about this one through a friend. What you need to do is just send one SMS to 9845398453 for the subscription. You only pay two rupees once for sending the START / STOP sms(Charges applicable as per your operator). All daily incoming SMS thereafter are Free. The service is available only for the Indian residents.

There are a whole lot of topics available for updates such as - JOKES, QUIZ, NEWS, SENSEX, POEMS, TRAVEL, HOME, CAREER, QUOTES, WORD, BOLLYWOOD, PANCHANG, LOVE, PREM etc.
I feel this is a very helpful service and virtually free of cost!
